The Raiders sponsor area fly ins at the Flying W Airport in Lumberton, NJ to benefit local High School students. We also sponsor a Flying Club at a local high school and have awarded flight scholarships to 10 local students. The Raider's High School Mentoring program has been so successful that they have 12 former students attending higher educational institutions enrolled in aviation engineering and flight programs.
This year the Raiders started the Rich Mee Scholarship for young pilots. The 2012 recipient of a $3000 aviation scholarship is Will Brennan.
The Raiders hosted members of the Tuskegee Airman at local middle schools and high schools.
In 2010 The Team initiated the Flight For The Cure during the Ocean City, NJ Air Show. The Team raised over $1,000 for the local cancer victims and dedicated a 1500 foot Pink Cancer Smoke Ribbon over the beaches of New Jersey to honor those battling Breast Cancer.
The Raiders create site specific handouts for each Airshow. Team pictures are signed and giving to the fans at every airshow. We handout collectable bracelets, tee shirts and also a selection of giveaways from our sponsors.
The Raiders have participated in local parades and promotions with our sponsors. It is our job to assist the show promoters and local community in making your show a success.
The Raiders have had the Honor and Privilege to commemorate our Fallen Heroes with Military Funeral Flyovers and Missing Man Formations.
